Privacy
What this calculator collects — and what it doesn't
The IEP Workload Calculator is designed to protect student and educator privacy. It never requests or accepts personally identifiable student information.
No student information
The calculator does not ask for and will not accept student names, student identifiers, disability categories, IEP documents, or any other personally identifiable student information. Questions are about your responsibilities and caseload structure, not about individual students.
Synthetic data in development
During development, only synthetic, non-identifying data is used to test the calculator. No real student data is required to use the tool.
Email capture is optional
You see your full results before any email is requested. If email capture is offered, it is optional and based on explicit consent. Declining never hides your results.
Limited, non-identifying events
The calculator records only a small set of privacy-respecting events to understand how it is used:
- Landing page view
- Call-to-action selection
- Methodology selection
No third-party advertising pixels are used. Events carry no student data and no personally identifying details about you.
